Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter created history by becoming the first Indian film made in airspace. Directed by Siddharth Anand of War and Pathaan fame, the film is based on the Pulwama attack and the counter-attack carried out by the Indian Air Force. The film opened to solid reviews, but the box office performance was decent and not extraordinary. Fighter earned over Rs 200 crore net in India and a worldwide gross of Rs 350 crore.
Long ago, we reported that the Hrithik Roshan starrer might make its OTT debut on March 21. Netflix, which owns the digital rights to this big issue, has confirmed the same now. Fighter is premiering tonight at 12am on Netflix and this is a solid opportunity for those who missed this visual spectacle in theaters.
Deepika Padukone paired up with Hrithik Roshan for the first time in her career. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi and Rishabh Sawhney in pivotal roles. As of now, Fighter is the highest-grossing Indian in the US region for 2024, grossing over $7 million.
