Some of the biggest meetings in Hollywood history will take place next week, when OpenAI comes to Hollywood to showcase the potential of its “Sora” software to studios, talent agencies and media executives.
Bloomberg reports that OpenAI wants more filmmakers to get familiar with Sora, the text-to-video generator that could potentially change the way movies are made.
Producer Tyler Perry has already seen it in action and was so impressed that he suspended plans for an $800 million studio expansion at its Atlanta base.
“Being told he can do all these things is one thing, but seeing his capabilities was mind-blowing,” he said in a previous interview.
