Oscars 2024: The 96th annual Academy Awards are scheduled for March 10 at Ovation Hollywood’s Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.
“2018: Everyone is a Hero”, the Malayalam film that was selected as India’s entry in the international feature film category for the 2024 Academy Awards, has been eliminated from the Oscar competition. The creation of director Jude Anthany Joseph could not secure a place in the list of 15 finalist films in the category, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) revealed, according to media reports.
Meanwhile, the biopic centered on Robert Oppenheimer, the scientist behind the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, has earned nominations in 13 categories, including ‘Best Picture’, ‘Best Director’ and ‘Best Adapted Screenplay’.
