“Outer Banks” actor Austin North was arrested in Las Vegas on Tuesday night on a charge of gross misdemeanor battery after allegedly attacking several UMC hospital workers.
According to a police report obtained by TMZOfficers were dispatched to the scene for reports of an assault and battery that had apparently occurred in the emergency room.
Upon arrival, police interviewed the alleged victims.
According to two nurses and a phlebotomist interviewed by officers, the attack came out of nowhere. The 27-year-old actor from the hit Netlix series threw consecutive punches at the three members of the hospital staff and pushed them for no apparent reason.
It is still unknown why the actor was in the hospital in the first place.
The Post has contacted North’s representatives for comment.
According to the report, North allegedly punched one nurse in the head, shoved another in the face and pushed the phlebotomist into a table.
The phlebotomist then used a nearby tray table in self-defense and hit North in the head.
Security officers then restrained North, but not before he was able to attack a fourth woman, whose role and identity have not been revealed.
According to TMZ, The officers were eventually able to handcuff him to a nearby gurney at the hospital. Police officers at the scene read North his Miranda rights and claim he said “yes” when they told him he would be arrested for assault.
North was then transported to jail.
He has since been released on bail.
