Pacers add Cory Joseph in trade with Warriors

Cory Joseph played limited minutes in 26 games with Golden State this season.

The Golden State Warriors have agreed to trade guard Cory Joseph to the Indiana Pacers.

However, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports the Pacers will waive Joseph.

What does commerce mean: The 32-year-old guard has 82 games of career playoff experience. The Pacers were busy before the trade deadline. adding Doug McDermott of San Antonio and trade Buddy Hield to Philadelphia. But keeping Joseph in the mix doesn’t seem to be in the plans.

Joseph is averaging just 2.4 points and 1.6 assists in 26 games with Golden State this season. He has career averages of 6.9 points, 3.0 assists and 2.5 rebounds during his 13-year career.

This would mark Joseph’s second season with Indiana, as he played for the Pacers from 2017 to 2019.
