Pleasant for Palm Sunday, Rain to Arrive Afterward

[ad_1]

PINE BELT, Mississippi (WDAM) –

If you went to Hubfest today or spent any time outdoors, you may have noticed that it was quite breezy today. Fortunately, those winds will begin to diminish starting tonight and tomorrow.

Tomorrow we will start cold in the 40s and reach 70 degrees. The rapid rise in temperature is due to the dry conditions brought to us by that remarkably dry northerly wind.

We are watching for the possibility of severe weather late Monday and into Tuesday, and strong overnight storms cannot be ruled out, so stay tuned to the weather as the next forecaster arrives.

Temperatures are expected to remain fairly constant over the next few days, even after rain chances end.

Starting Tuesday afternoon, we will have a minimal chance of rain over the Easter weekend. Some of us here in the Pine Belt can even reach 80 degrees during the day.

As always, stay with us here for the latest updates as details of next week’s strong to severe overnight storms evolve.
