These are the Lunar New Year challenges for Pokémon Go: Dragons Unleashed Timed Research, as well as all the rewards that can be obtained from it.
In conjunction with the Pokémon Go Lunar New Year 2024 event, Niantic launched a special timed research challenge that trainers can complete during the holidays.
Players will have to complete a series of tasks related to Dragon types, and those who complete them will receive a host of rewards, including an encounter with the newcomer Drampa.

- Power up 5 Dragon-type Pokémon – Bagon Encounter
- Spin 10 Pokestops or Gyms – Encounter with Axew
- Catch 15 Dragon-type Pokémon – Skrelp Encounter
Rewards: 2000 Stardust, 4000 XP, 2 lucky eggs

- Upgrade 5 Dragon-type Pokémon – Gible Encounter
- Evolve a Dragon-type Pokémon – Goomy Encounter
- Power up 10 Dragon-type Pokémon – Deino Encounter
- Evolve 3 Dragon-type Pokémon – Encounter with Jangmo-o
- Upgrade 15 Dragon-type Pokémon – Turtonator Encounter
Rewards: 4000 Stardust, 8000 XP, Drampa Encounter
Pokémon Go: Dragons Unleashed Timed Research Lunar New Year tickets cost $2 or the equivalent in your local region.
Trainers can purchase and gift tickets to any Pokémon Go friend who has reached a friendship level of Big Friends or higher.

Also, please note that Timed Research challenges and rewards expire. Pokémon Go players must claim all rewards associated with the scheduled Lunar New Year research by February 11 at 8:00 p.m. local time.
