‘Porky’ star Tony Ganios dies at 64

Tony Ganios, star of the sex comedy “Porky’s” and many other cult classic films, has reportedly died. He was 64 years old.

Ganios also responded to several other X users who expressed their condolences, including a man named Marc, who claimed he was going to meet Ganios in person for the first time in two weeks.

“Thank you, Marc,” Amanda responded. “It’s just unreal to me right now. It was so fast. He hadn’t been feeling well and hid it from me for days. When he finally told me and was taken to the hospital, his spinal cord was severely infected. They operated on him and the next morning his heart stopped. I am broken”.

Ganios played Perry in “The Wanderers” in 1979.

He also played fan favorite Anthony ‘Meat’ Tuperello in the ’80s sex comedy franchise “Porky’s.” The film, which spawned two sequels, was about a group of high school boys looking to lose their virginity in Florida in the 1950s.

Ganios played an assassin in 1990’s “Die Hard 2,” where his character was stabbed in the eye with an icicle by Bruce Willis’ character John McClane.

Ganios’ other film credits include “The Wanderers,” “Back Roads,” “Continental Divide,” “Body Rock,” “Rising Sun” and “The Taking of Beverly Hills.”
