It is “the United States the Beautiful” but with a different touch.
during sunday Super Bowl LVIII pre-match celebrations, Malone Message made a soft and acoustic interpretation of “America the Beautiful”.
Wearing a brown jacket and light-wash jeans, the rapper and singer sang the lyrics of the iconic anthem in a melodic tone. Singing through his grills, Malone showed off his vocal range while he also strummed his guitar. During her performance, cameras focused on Taylor Swift hugging Blake Lively in one of the $2.5 million luxury suites at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Malone mocked the performance several days before the Big Game in an interview with Billboardsaying that he often sings it “at the top of his lungs.”
“I sing it all the time, randomly in my most patriotic moments. It’s a song that’s always in the back of my head, and whether I’m playing or just walking around, I’ll sing it at the top of my lungs,” she said. “So I’m very excited, and I’m definitely not 100 percent nervous about singing it in front of millions of people at the Super Bowl.”
The singer revealed that he worked with his collaborator Louis Bell to make adjustments to the patriotic classic. “I’m just going to sing my heart out as best I can and give America, no matter how horrible it is, love. [this song] it deserves,” he added. Post’s performance was accompanied by an American Sign Language interpretation by model dancer Anjel Piñero.
Malone too appear in a Super Bowl ad for Bud Light during Sunday’s game, where he stars alongside Peyton Manning.

Post is one of three pregame performers, along with Reba McEntire, who will sing the national anthem, and Andra Day, who performed “Lift every voice and sing.” The Super Bowl officially incorporated “America the Beautiful” into its pre-game football section beginning in 2009.
Babyface sang “America the Beautiful” last year, while Jhené Aiko did it the year before.
