Prince Harry would be willing to return to royal duties if King Charles III asked him to, a source tells Page Six.
The Duke of Sussex, 39, ran across the Atlantic to see his cancer-stricken father for just over 30 minutes after his recent diagnosis.
Speaking to “Good Morning America” on Friday, Harry, fifth in line to the throne, emphasized: “I love my family.”
A source close to the royals told us: “I find it hard to believe that if his father asked him for help, Harry would say no, I think he would try.”
But at the same time, the source added: “I don’t think it’s something Harry would ask to do on his own.”
Last week, Harry reconciled with his 75-year-old father at the monarch’s London home, Clarence House, during a quick 25-hour trip to the United Kingdom.
The renegade royal has been in Canada for the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 One Year to Go celebrations alongside his wife Meghan Markle.
Speaking with journalist Will Reeves, son of the late “Superman” star Christopher Reeves, Harry revealed the moment he found out about his father’s diagnosis.
“I talked to him. I got on a plane and went to see him as soon as I could,” he said.
He added: “Look, I love my family. “I’m grateful for the fact that I was able to get on a plane and go see him and spend time with him.”

As to whether Charles’ illness could have a “reunifying effect” on the royal family, Harry said: “Absolutely. If I’m sure. In all these families, I see it every day, the strength of the family unit coming together.”
Although he lives in California with the “Suits” alum and his two children, Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2, Harry said he would return to the United Kingdom to see his father.
“I have my own family, like we all do,” he said. “My family and my life in California are what they are. “I have other trips planned that will take me around the UK or back to the UK, so I will stop by and see my family as much as I can.”
