A royal family spokesman has sought to calm widespread speculation about the condition of Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, who has not been seen in public since Christmas.
She was admitted to the hospital in January for what was called “planned abdominal surgery” and was given a recovery schedule that would keep her away from official duties until Easter.
However, his prolonged absence has sparked intense speculation that his health is much more serious than publicly revealed. It’s a situation exacerbated by King Charles’ cancer diagnosis and Prince Williams’ recent absence from some royal duties.
A royal spokesperson quoted by The Daily Telegraph He said that “nothing has changed” and stated: “We always said that the Princess of Wales would be out until Easter, and we will not be making any further comments… The Princess of Wales is still well.”
At the time of the surgery announcement, Kensington Palace said it would “only provide updates on Her Royal Highness’s progress when there is significant new information to share.”
