How many of you know that Malayalam star hero Prithviraj Sukumaran was supposed to be a part of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s dream project Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy? During the Telugu promotions of The Goat Life, the versatile actor revealed some interesting facts.
Prithviraj Sukumaran said, “In 2017 or 2018, Mr. Chiranjeevi contacted me through Mr. Mani Rathnam’s wife Suhasini Mam to play a role in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. I was very flattered that Chiru considered me for an important role in his film and it was like receiving a big certificate. I said I would have loved to do it, but when I started preparing for The Goat Life, I couldn’t act in Sye Raa. I told Chiru the same and he said he was fine.”
Prithviraj Sukumaran continued, “Then I became a director and directed a hit film. Mr. Chiranjeevi bought the Telugu rights (Lucifer). For the Sye Raa event in Kerala, I was the chief guest. Chiru sir’s team asked me if I could direct Lucifer in Telugu. I told Chiru sir that I would have loved to do it, but since I am working on The Goat Life, I won’t be able to direct the Telugu version. I don’t remember saying the same reason four years ago, but Chiranjeevi sir didn’t forget it (laughs). Chiranjeevi sir is such a sweet person. He messages me from time to time and so does Ram Charan. I am hopeful that one day I will work with him.”
