Late Punjabi rapper Sidhu Moosewala’s father welcomes a newborn son. Sharing a photo on Instagram on Sunday, Balkaur Singh is seen holding the baby, with a photo frame of Sidhu in the background. Balkaur, dressed in a blue shirt and jeans, cradles the baby in his arms. Moosewala’s family had been mourning his brutal death for two years and now a bundle of joy has arrived, bringing happiness to his 60-year-old father. Moosewala’s mother Charan Kaur conceived through in vitro fertilization (IVF), as her brother-in-law Chamkaur Singh announced earlier this year. Sidhu Moosewala gained fame for his unique style and his impactful lyrics in Punjabi music. He started out as a lyricist, rose to fame with his debut track ‘G Wagon’ in 2017 and continued to gain popularity with hit albums. His powerful voice and relatable lyrics earned him a large fan base. Moosewala contested the 2022 Punjab Assembly elections on a Congress ticket from Mansa but did not win. Tragically, he was fatally shot by assailants while he was campaigning in his car in Jawaharke village.
