He faced financial difficulties, sold his belongings but refused to part with his horses. During this difficult period, Randeep experienced profound depression, feeling as if life had been split in half because of an unfinished project. As a result, he almost left the film ‘Extraction’. Seeking solace, he visited a Gurudwara, asking forgiveness for breaking her promise to keep his hair until the completion of the film, made at the Golden Temple in Amritsar.
