After surprising us all AnimalRashmika Mandanna is gearing up for her next big release. Pushpa 2: The rule. Directed by Sukumar, the film stars superstar Allu Arjun in the lead role. In a recent conversation with rosavillaRashmika shared her opinion about the film. She said: “One thing I will promise is that it will be huge. We are halfway there. “We were shooting for a huge song sequence and when I come back, I will be shooting for another song.” Rashmika also hinted at the possibility of the film’s simultaneous release in Japan. She expressed: “We could free Pushpa 2 in Japan on the same day of release. “We are having those conversations.” FYI: Rashmika recently made history by becoming the first Indian to present an award at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in Tokyo, Japan.
In the same interview, Rashmika Mandanna also spoke about the strong bond formed between the cast and crew during the filming of the first installment. Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1. She shared: “It’s starting to feel like home. When you finish a movie and towards the end you really connect with the cast and crew. Then when part 2 comes, you’re like, ‘Yayy.'”
Talking about her role in the film, Rashmika Mandanna added, “My role in Pushpa 2 is that now she has become Pushpa’s wife and becoming Pushpa’s wife, there are still some responsibilities to bear. In Pushpa 2, there is a lot more drama and bigger conflicts that we face as characters. It’s going to be a lot more masala in part 2.”
Previously, in an interview with VarietyAllu Arjun analyzed the potential of converting Pushpa in a franchise. He said: “You can definitely look forward to the third part, we want to make it a franchise and we have interesting ideas for the lineup.”
while talking about Pushpa 2: The rule, Allu Arjun added: “Pushpa 2 It’s going to have a very different tone Pushpa than what you have seen in Pushpa 1, because it’s the lower end of the spectrum that you’ve seen. You’ll see the higher end of the spectrum in terms of characterization. So you will see it on a very high note, you will see it on a very high scale, in terms of characterization, in terms of this scale and presentation, and the canvas of the problems will be much larger than it seems. “It was compared to Pushpa 1. It will be a bigger canvas and the characterization will have a different dimension.”
Pushpa 2: The rule will hit the big screens on August 15.
