Kate Middleton is under fire for photoshopping as she continues to recover from serious abdominal surgery.

And with rumors about the Princess of Wales’s well-being spiraling out of control, Meghan Markle is trying to offer support to her estranged sister-in-law, a source says.

“Royal Palace Scandals” author Tom Quinn told the Mirror that the Duchess of Sussex has contacted Kensington Palace several times through back channels.

“She’s really worried about Kate’s health,” Quinn said.

Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, have not spoken to Kate and her husband, Prince William, since they moved to Montecito, California, in 2020.

However, Kate is unlikely to be in a position to begin reconciliation talks, another source claims.

“I don’t think Kate ever considered Meghan, who spent so little time in the royal fold, as an appropriate or qualified person to give her advice or support,” said royal expert Jennie Bond. OK!.

“This is a time for Kate to focus on regaining her strength, physically and mentally, and I don’t think she would like to address the family breakdown right now,” he added.

But Bond noted that if the former actress were to send “flowers” or “gifts” to the princess to “cheer her up,” then the “gesture would be politely accepted.”

Quinn agrees, stating that Kate would probably politely accept Markle’s “olive branches,” as she wouldn’t want to be seen “rejecting these overtures.”

But it would be unlikely to lead to any real reconciliation between the couple or their feuding husbands.

“The feeling at Kensington Palace is that if Meghan’s attempts to extend an olive branch are welcomed, they will simply reopen old wounds,” Quinn said.

Kate has not been seen in public since Christmas 2023, except for some blurry photos of her riding in cars.

The future queen will skip the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade on Sunday at Mons Barracks in Aldershot, England, an event she attends every year.

The princess became an honorary colonel in the Irish Guards last year following the death of Queen Elizabeth.
