Realme launched the Narzo 70 Pro 5G in India and as expected, it offers a quirky design with support for aerial gestures and a 50-megapixel Sony camera for under Rs 20,000. Considering how frequently Realme releases smartphones these days, it’s downright surprising how the Narzo 70 Pro stands out from everything it’s come up with so far. It also stands out from the competition. But what really draws the most attention is the price.

The Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G starts at just Rs 19,999 for a version with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. A model with double the storage will cost you just Rs 21,999. Realme will also offer a free pair of wireless earbuds (Buds T300) worth Rs 2,299 for first-time buyers. Additionally, there is also a bank discount (HDFC/ICICI) of Rs 2,000, which reduces the total cost of ownership by Rs 4,299.

Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G design and specifications

The Narzo 70 Pro has a glass back with a two-tone finish. You can get it in a green and gold option. The chassis is flat and has an IP54 rating. Flip to the front and you’ll find a 6.7-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. HDR10+ support is available. So is Realme’s smart rainwater touch. Biometrics are handled by an on-screen fingerprint reader.

The Narzo 70 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chip paired with Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14. Realme claims that the phone will ship with up to 65 percent fewer pre-installed apps for a “near-standard software experience.” The phone also supports “air gestures,” meaning you can navigate certain aspects without touching it.

On the other hand, the phone has a triple camera setup led by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor with an optically stabilized lens, a 16-megapixel front camera, dual speakers, and a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging.

The Narzo 70 Pro 5G will be available starting March 22 on Amazon and Realme online.
