Actress Rebecca Ferguson said she once refused to work with a co-star who yelled at her on set and left her in tears.
The Swedish star he told the Reign with Josh Smith podcast who once worked with an “absolute idiot co-star.”
She said she learned to stand up for herself after the star criticized her and eventually asked them to turn their backs on her while she performed.
Ferguson did not reveal the co-star’s identity or gender.
The Dune: Part Two actress said the other actor was “being so insecure and angry because this person couldn’t do the scenes” and “literally looked at me in front of the entire crew and said, ‘You call yourself an actor? This Is that what I have to work with?'”
She added that she felt “very scared” by the confrontation in which they “yelled at her.” In the end, Ferguson said she criticized them for her behavior.
“Because this person was number one on a call sheet, there was no safety net for me, so no one had my back,” he explained.
He said he told the individual to “get off my set” and told them, “I’m going to work to get a tennis ball. I never want to see you again.”
When producers told him that the star had to be allowed on set because they were “number one,” Ferguson asked to perform on the back of his co-star’s head.
“I thought it shouldn’t have to be like that, and I remember going to the director afterwards and saying, ‘What’s going on?’
“The director said, ‘You’re right, I’m not taking care of the others. I’m trying to fool this person because he’s very unstable.’
“And it was great from that point on, but it took me a long time to get there,” he said.
He added that he has only gained enough confidence to deal with this type of behavior “in my last 10 or 12 years, and I’ve been acting since I was 16.”
Although Ferguson did not name the co-star, he said it was not Tom Cruise with whom he starred in Mission: Impossible, nor Hugh Jackman, who played the title role in The Greatest Showman.
He added: “No matter who it is, I will try not to reveal this.”
Dwayne Johnson, who appeared alongside Ferguson in 2014’s Hercules, responded to a video clip from the interview on [it].
