Dune: Part Two” star Rebecca Ferguson revealed on the “Reign With Josh Smith” podcast that a co-star once yelled at her on set in such an unprofessional manner that she finally responded and asked him to just perform in front of the back of the actor’s head. Ferguson did not name the actor.

“I made a movie with an absolutely idiotic co-star and this human being was so insecure and angry because this person couldn’t pull off the scenes,” he said. “And I think it was so vulnerable and uncomfortable that they would yell at me and I would cry when I left the set.”

“This person would literally look at me in front of the entire crew and say, ‘You call yourself an actor?’ Is this what I have to work with?’ “I stood there devastated,” Ferguson continued. “Because this person was number one on the call sheet, there was no safety net for me. Nobody supported me.”

Ferguson said the experience was the first time she spoke for herself as an actress on a set. She arrived on set the next day and told the actor: “Get off my set. You can go out. I’m going to work to get a tennis ball. I do not want to see you again.”

“And then I remember the producers came up and said, ‘You can’t do this to number one.’ We have to let this person be on set,’” Ferguson recalled. “And I said, ‘The person can turn around and I can act on the back of the head.’ And I did it. She was so scared. I feel it now when I say it.”

Ferguson finally brought up the situation to his director, who told him, “You’re right. I’m not taking care of everyone else. I am trying to fool this person because he is very unstable.”

“It was great from that moment on, but it took me a long time to get there,” he concluded.

Ferguson did not name the actor. As her comments gained traction on social media, the actress gained some support from Dwayne Johnson, with whom she co-starred in 2014’s “Hercules.”

“I hate to see this, but I love watching her deal with nonsense,” Johnson published in X. “Rebecca was my guardian angel sent from heaven on our set. I love that woman. “I would like to know who did this.”
