Review: Premalu – Charming romantic comedy

History:

Sachin (Naslen K. Gafoor), an engineering graduate and a shy young man, loves a girl from his college but cannot express his feelings for her. After graduating, he plans to go to the United Kingdom, but his VISA application is rejected. Sachin doesn’t want to stay in his hometown and so he asks his friend Amal Davis (Sangeeth Prathap) for help. Amal Davis, who plans to continue as a GATE coach in Hyderabad, takes Sachin with him. It is very difficult to handle films like Premalu, which have a simple story, but Girish AD does the job with flying colors. Premalu conveys a happy, joyful and comforting atmosphere throughout its runtime. Girish AD strikes a chord by coming up with situational and wholesome humour. There are numerous sequences in the film that will make us laugh out loud. The best part is that the love story is not overshadowed by the fun moments. The lead couple Naslen Gafoor and Mamitha Baiju are very endearing in their roles. Naslen looks like the boy next door and is very natural in his portrayal of Sachin. There is innocence, wit and charm in Sachin’s character, and the young actor did an incredible job of bringing those qualities to the screen. Mamitha Baiju is as captivating as Reenu.
