Porsha Williams has filed for divorce from her husband, Simon Guobadia, after just one year of marriage.
The returning “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star filed court papers Thursday in Atlanta. according to people.
The filing appears to be private, so it’s not immediately clear why Williams made the decision.
A source told the magazine that the cause of the breakup is an “ongoing issue.”
Representatives for Williams did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Despite wanting to dissolve her marriage, Williams still goes by Porsha Guobadia on Instagram.
Williams, 42, and Guobadia, 59, still follow each other on the social media platform and he had posted a photo of her in a bikini surrounded by a huge bouquet of red roses, red balloons and a red teddy bear last week.
“All mine! My love,” she captioned the Feb. 16 post.
The bravery shared the same photos of the Valentine’s Day photo shoot on his account with the caption: “Happy wife, happy life, Mrs. Guobadias.”
The couple, now separated, took the photos during a romantic vacation in Dubai.
williams shared a video of herself packing on the PDA with Guobadia as they took a luxurious car-turned-boat ride around the United Arab Emirates.
“My ride or die (And yes, he thought he was going to die today) #BeHisPeace,” he captioned the clip on February 17.
Williams and Guobadia celebrated their first wedding anniversary in November 2023 and she marked the occasion by gifting him a diamond wedding ring.
“Happy anniversary baby @iamsimonguobadia!! Had to upgrade my boo with a new custom ring fit for a King from @universaldiamonds,” she subtitled a video of herself giving him the jewelry.
Guobadia also praised the milestone by sharing several photos and videos from their weddings.

The author of “Finding Porsha” and the businessman were married twice in November 2022.
They got married for the first time in an extravagant traditional Nigerian ceremony in Atlanta.
Just one day later, they said “I do” for the second time in a traditional American ceremony, during which Williams wore a white lace Frida ball gown with a dazzling matching headpiece.
Guobadia proposed to Williams in May 2021 after dating publicly for just a month.
Their relationship initially caused controversy as he was previously married to his “RHOA” friend, Falynn Pina.
