‘RHOC’ Alexis Bellino’s Ear Infected by Piercing, Dr. Terry Dubrow Helps

Alexis tells us that her ear cartilage piercing had been causing her pain since she got it a year ago… but it wasn’t until a hairdresser accidentally bumped into it last Thursday that she really felt the agony. Oh!

She says her hairdresser notified her that the earring was deeply embedded in her ear and that the skin around it was clearly infected and overgrown. Alexis wasted no time and ran straight to urgent care to fix it. Smart move!

However, when the doctors brought out the scalpel, Alexis told them to wait…because the only person she would trust near her ear was Terry. Of course, the “Botched” star’s wife, Heather Dubrow is Alexis’ co-star on ‘RHOC,’ so it’s all about keeping it all in the Bravo family.

The big elimination took place on Monday and Dr. Dubrow, being the champion that he is, even skipped his lunch break to help her.

It is said that he managed to remove Alexis’s earring, adorned with four diamonds, without having to make any cuts. That requires a lot of skill.

For his part, Terry tells TMZ that he’s glad Alexis came to him for help…especially since playing with the infected cartilage in his ear is like playing with fire. He explains to us that the area doesn’t have much blood flow, so if things go wrong, it can lead to serious infections that can ruin your hearing or even worse. Yes, no thanks!

Alexis is showering Terry with gratitude… telling us he’s a top-notch surgeon and a super kind friend. She’s also excited about how Terry worked it into her busy schedule as soon as possible and made sure the entire experience was as painless as possible. That’s the definition of having a true friend in high places!
