Since King Charles III’s cancer diagnosis, all eyes have been focused on the British royal family. There have been a series of events at the House of Windsor just over the course of the last few days, including Prince HarryHis recent trip to the UK to visit his father. He father-son meeting, however, was extraordinarily brief. And a royal expert believes the presence of this important family member may have been part of the reason for the meeting’s length.
According to royal expert Robert Jobson, queen camilla could have played a role in the quick meeting. “The Queen was with the King,” Jobson said, according to Marie Claire through Sun. “Let’s be honest: he (Harry) was not too complimentary about Queen Camilla in his book, Replacement. He wasn’t very complimentary of her on Netflix. They do not get along”.

In fact, there may have been a lot of tension in the room if Queen Camilla was present at Harry’s reunion with his father. But there is also more. “Royalty sticks to a nice military watch,” Jobson said. “You have to get the helicopter pilot there, all these things. So his plans had to be changed. The only thing the King doesn’t like is changing plans. He gave her enough time to give her a kiss and a hug and wished her all the best.” King Charles and Queen Camilla reportedly left Clarence House for Sandringham after the meeting.
Jobson also admitted that there simply “hasn’t been much contact” between Harry and his father over the course of the last few years. As much as we would like to believe that, at a time like this, those feelings can be put aside, it is much easier said than done. However, the important element of this whole story is that Prince Harry was there for his father.even if it’s just for a brief meeting.
Other royal experts believe that Harry and King Charles meeting could mean end to royal feud, at least between father and son. Another concern is whether the relationship between Harry and his older brother, Prince William, will ever recover. But this royal expert’s insight may give us a little more insight into why this meeting was so short-lived.
