The ladies of “The Devil Wears Prada” didn’t keep us waiting for their anticipated reunion at the SAGs.
Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway took the stage to present the first award of the night, for male actor in a comedy series.
A nervous-looking Streep nearly knocked over the microphone stand as she emerged, laughing at herself and then saying, “Two things: I forgot my glasses and the envelope.”
But true to form, the stars who played his assistants in the film were there at just the right time with the goods.
“Of course, move at a glacial pace. You know how that excites me,” Blunt said, quoting Streep’s icy fashion editor Miranda Priestley, before Streep announced the nominees.
