Prashanth Neel, known for his monumental hits with the KGF franchise and Salaar, has undoubtedly elevated Kannada cinema to the world stage. With just his last three films, he has skyrocketed to become the most sought-after director in the country.
On the 10th anniversary of his first film, Ugramm, he recently participated in a program where he reminisced about the film and shared insights about his favorites.
When asked about his favorite director, Prashanth Neel unequivocally stated, “My all-time favorite director is Upendra. I’m not saying this because it’s a Kannada show. His films, Shhh!, Tharle Nan Maga and Om, span three different genres, and it is not easy for a director to handle such diversity, but Upendra managed it.”
He further revealed that Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan is his favorite actor while Sridevi holds the title of his all-time favorite heroine. Stay tuned for more exciting updates.
