Star heroine Samantha and Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan acted in a web series that is a part of the Citadel Universe. Citadel is actually an American web series and the first season featured Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden in the lead roles. Famous director duo Raj and DK directed the Indian series, which will soon arrive on Prime Video.
Prime Video is currently holding a big event in Mumbai where they are announcing their content slate for 2024. During this mega event, it was revealed that Samantha and Varun Dhawan’s show is titled Citadel: Honey Bunny. Raj & DK and Sita Menon wrote the script. The creators promised that the series will have a riveting narrative that fuses the fast-paced elements of a gritty spy action thriller with the heartwarming appeal of a love story.
The web series also stars Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, Saquib Saleem and Sikandar Kher in key roles. Apart from directing, Raj & DK also produced the show under the banner D2R Films.
