Samantha talks about her health, ‘extremely difficult year’

Samantha Ruth Prabhu talked about herself in her health podcast series.

Samantha said: “I specifically remember the year before I had this problem, it was an extremely difficult year for me. I specifically remember the day when I think my friend/partner/manager Himank and I were traveling back from Mumbai. And this was in June of last year, and I remember telling him that I finally feel calm. I haven’t felt a little relaxed and a little calm in a long, long time. And I finally feel like I can breathe and “I can go to sleep and now I can wake up and focus in my job and being the best I can be at work. And I woke up with this condition.”

She added: “The reason I wanted to do this podcast was because after the experience, the heartbreaking experience that I’ve been through and well, an autoimmune condition lasts a lifetime, so with what I’m dealing with now too, I’d rather “Let people be safe rather than sorry.”

Samantha had talked about myositis on Instagram

Last year, Samantha announced a break from work to focus on her health. In 2022, she revealed her diagnosis of myositis, an autoimmune disease, before the release of her film Yashoda. A portion of her Instagram post read: “A few months ago I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called myositis. I was hoping to share this after I’ve gone into remission. But it’s taking a little longer than I expected. I’m slowly realizing “We don’t always need to be strong. Accepting this vulnerability is something I’m still struggling with. The doctors are confident that I will make a full recovery very soon.”

Recently, he shared a video on Instagram Stories announcing his return. “I’m finally going to go back to work. But other than that, I was completely unemployed in the meantime. But I’m doing something fun with a friend. It’s a health podcast. “It’s quite unexpected, but it’s something I really love and something I’m very passionate about.”
