It’s not the aliens. It’s SpaceX!

A rocket launch was clearly visible in the skies over San Diego County on Monday night as SpaceX launched its Falcon 9, sending 22 Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit from Vandenberg Space Force Base in Santa County Barbara.

San Diegans looked up as a white trail following the rocket divided the sky into an already beautiful sunset.

The launch took place around 7:30 pm. Viewers sent their photos of the rocket launch to NBC 7 from eastern Arizona and north of San Clemente.
