Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are enjoying some family time with their oldest son.
James Wilkie Broderick, 21 years old, took Instagram on Sunday to share some rare family photos with her famous parents during what appeared to be a nature walk.
In one snap, he appeared to be the same height as his father Matthew, 61, as they stood side by side. She sported a purple knit sweater and light gray skinny jeans, while the actor kept warm in distressed jeans and a light jacket over a blue shirt.
Another image showed Matthew and Parker, 58, standing back to back on a grassy path as the sun set behind them.
It’s unclear where they were, but a sign James placed on his carousel showed that hedgehogs could cross his path at any time.
The “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” star and “Sex and the City” alum are also parents to 14-year-old twin daughters, Tabitha Hodge and Marion Loretta Elwell.
The family of five posed for a rare selfie in November 2023 that showed them all curled up in bed, and before that, they attended the Broadway premiere of “Some Like It Hot” together in December 2022.
Parker and Broderick prefer to keep their family life private, but the actress has shared several milestones on social media for her eldest son.
When James turned 20, he took the gram to share a throwback photo of him and remembered how much her life changed for the better when he was born.
“Today the kaleidoscope rotates with all the memories. In all the glorious ways, changes and perspectives you have brought into our lives,” she wrote.
She turned 19 while studying at Brown University, and Parker opened up about the mixed feelings she had on her special day.
“He doesn’t wake up with us. He is in his life. Far. In his studies. Among new friends. Sending details home.” she wrote along with an image of James’s face.
“In this case, it’s bittersweet. Not being with him. To wish you the happiest of birthdays. …Balloons. Candles. Hoping every birthday wish comes true.”

The Primetime Emmy Award-winning star has been a little more protective of her younger daughters, but in 2022, she revealed that they are mesmerized by her work.
“I showed my daughters (my Vogue 2021 cover)… and both of my daughters put their hands to their mouths and said, ‘Are you on the cover of Vogue?’” she recalled during her interview for “Life in Looks.” from Vogue. ” series.
“I didn’t know they knew Vogue,” he added. “So, that was very moving for me.”
In September 2022, they joined her and Matthew on the red carpet for the premiere of “Hocus Pocus 2” in New York City.
