After engaging in verbal spats and skirmishes for weeks, LA Knight rose to prominence on the latest edition of SmackDown to address his ongoing feud with The Phenomenal One. In a bold move, WWE’s resident megastar challenged Styles to a match. one on one at WrestleMania 40.
Before Knight could complete his proclamation, AJ Styles took The Megastar by surprise, making his own statement loud and clear, as Styles accepted LA Knight’s WrestleMania 40 challenge.
According to Sean Ross Sapp behind the Fightful paywall, it was reported that LA Knight’s interview segment was not part of the opening sheets on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
