“It turns out that Jason Segel was at the Emmys, and he looked at me and started waving,” said Gomez, who admitted to feeling excited at the Emmys, thinking that Jason recognized her because she is a fan of the actor and his popular comedy. “This is a bit embarrassing. “It is a very strange habit, but every night I fall asleep watching the same show,” she added.
The 31-year-old singer, who recently returned to the music scene, revealed that when Segel, 44, waved, she instinctively waved back to the actor. “I was like, ‘Oh, hello!'” she recounted, depicting the moment. However, when she greeted him from a distance, she realized that Segel wasn’t actually greeting her, which made for a bit of an awkward situation.
