Selena Gomez wore a white tank top with jeans on Instagram

When it comes to dressing, simple can sometimes be best. Think about the classics you already have in your closet (the LBD, a trench coat, ballet flats) – they instantly elevate any outfit, with minimal effort. And the same can be said for the humble white t-shirt, especially when styled in a Selena Gomez style.

On Friday, the singer, actress and beauty entrepreneur uploaded a new mirror selfie to her Instagram Story, and in the photo, she rocked the beloved fail-safe outfit formula that’s been around for as long as anyone can remember. Sitting on her undone (identifiable) bed, Gomez wore no bra underneath a spaghetti-strapped, scoop-neck white T-shirt that was tucked into a pair of dark-wash baggy jeans. She was barefoot and only accessorized with a black leather belt with a gold buckle and some rings.

Gomez’s glam was as understated as her outfit, as she paired a nude lip with her sleek, middle-parted brunette bob with flipped ends.

White has certainly been Gómez’s favorite color lately. Last month, the Only murders in the building The star attended the 2024 SAG Awards in a custom Atelier Versace A-line gown covered in sequins and featuring corset-style details on the midsection, as well as Medusa hardware on the straps. She paired the all-white color palette with a classic red manicure and wore her hair in soft, brushed-back waves.
