Shah Rukh Khan worked with Priyanka Chopra in Don and Don 2.
Shah Rukh Khan was said to be secretly dating Priyanka Chopra during the filming of Don 2. However, both of them denied the rumors and called them false.
Shah Rukh Khan’s close friend Vivek Vaswani, who launched the actor in Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, spoke about SRK’s dating rumors with Priyanka Chopra. Shah Rukh and Priyanka were said to be secretly dating during the filming of Don 2. However, Vivek has clarified that SRK has been “a one-woman man his entire life”.
While speaking on Siddharth Kannan’s YouTube channel, Vivek addressed Shah Rukh’s alleged relationships and whether there was any truth to those rumors. “Relationship? Middle? Sexual relationship? No. He is not that type. I don’t know where the rumors came from,” she recalled. “Ghar mein reh rahe the, mama papa the, tension tha, career tha, jaldi se Gauri se shadi karni thi, usme relationship kaise ayega (We lived in the same house, my parents were there, there was tension, stress due to career, he had to marry Gauri, where would a relationship be in all this)? Was there a friendship relationship but there was no sexual relationship?”
He further said that when Shah Rukh became a superstar, a lot of things were written about him. “It’s not true. In fact, for as long as I’ve known him, he’s been a one-woman man his entire life. How many affairs have you heard about? We’ve had a rumor about Priyanka Chopra, which is also a rumor, but what “Have we heard more about Shah Rukh? Nothing. He is not that kind of person.”
During her two-decade career in Bollywood, Priyanka was linked to Shahid Kapoor, Harman Baweja and SRK, but the actress never confirmed dating any of them. On Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast, Priyanka opened up about her love life and how at one point she went from “relationship to relationship.”
“I didn’t give myself time for anything between relationships… I think I worked a lot and always ended up dating the actors I worked with. And I think I thought I had an idea of what a relationship should be, and I kept searching for it and trying to fit the people who came into my life into my idea of that relationship,” she said.
Priyanka married Nick Jonas in 2018. Together they welcomed a daughter, named Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. While SRK has been married to Gauri Khan for 22 years. They have three children together.
