Shaitaan Box Office Collection Day 2: The film Shaitaan directed by Vikas Bahl with Ajay Devgn, Jyotika and R Madhavan in the lead roles has seen a rise in its collection on day 2. The film released on Friday has once again performed well and the first estimates show that the film collected $18.25 crores in India, Sacnilk.com reported. With this, the total collection now amounts to $33 crores nett in India. As per the report, the film had an overall occupancy of 33.65 per cent in Hindi.

The film is a Hindi remake of the 2023 Gujarati horror film “Vash”, which was written and directed by Krishnadev Yagnik. The supernatural thriller revolves around the concept of black magic.

Talking about their reviews, X users gave positive reviews to the movie. One user wrote, “A powerful thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat with outstanding performances from Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan. The film drags you along calmly. Go and watch the movie before you miss this masterpiece of horror cinema.” “A few tense, gripping moments spaced far apart. The climax is disappointing,” wrote another on X.

Earlier, during the trailer launch, Bollywood star Ajay Devgn had said that horror and supernatural stories are among his favorite genres and he was delighted to explore them again in “Shaitaan” after the success of his 2003 hit “Bhoot” . “It’s not that we (superstars) don’t want to do horror films. If we get something interesting, why not?… I like this genre and was waiting to explore it again. When I did ‘Bhoot’, I received a lot of appreciation afterwards From that, I didn’t get any script that was good in this genre,” Devgn was quoted as saying at the trailer launch event of “Shaitaan.” PTI.

The film produced by Devgn, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak under the banner Ajay Devgn Film and Panorama Studios respectively. It is also produced by Jio Studios. According to the PTI report, Pathak also revealed that the team is already planning to make the second part of “Shaitaan”.
