Shaitaan Box Office Collection Day 5: Supernatural horror thriller Shaitaan witnessed a sharp drop on Monday and the drop continued on Tuesday after performing exceptionally well over the weekend. The Bollywood film stormed the box office on its release day, March 8, and made steady gains thereafter before its business took a nosedive on day 4 of its release.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film grossed $61.25 crores nett during its five days of theatrical release. On its fifth day, March 12, the supernatural horror thriller was coined. $6.50 crores nett.

Vikas Bahl’s directorial film grossed $14.75 crores nett in India on the day of its release. The film surpassed its opening day mark on day 2, Saturday, when the collection stood at $18.75 and witnessed a growth of 27.12%.
The film continued its progress on the 3rd, Sunday, when the collection was in $20.5 crore net and witnessed a growth of 9.33%. Thus, the film produced by Panorama Studios and Jio Studios in its first weekend collected $39.25 crores nett.

The total net box office collection in India now stands at $68.13 crores while minting $15.25 crores in the overseas market. Therefore, the film’s global box office collection stands at $88 crores gross.

In terms of occupancy, Shaitaan had an overall Hindi occupancy of 13.38% on the 5th, with Mumbai leading the way followed by Delhi. The star cast of the film includes R Madhavan, Jyothika, Janki Bodiwala and Anngad Raaj, besides Ajay Devgn.
