Shraddha Kapoor is strongly opposed to any form of animal cruelty during the festival of colours. The actress took to her Instagram Stories a day before Holi to raise awareness about such practices and urged her fans to take appropriate action against people who resort to animal cruelty. Shraddha Kapoor shared a video condemning animal cruelty on her Instagram Stories (Instagram).

On Sunday, Shraddha shared a video in which many unidentified people were throwing colors at dogs. He showed how pet animals are mistreated particularly during Holi by throwing colors at them. The colors contain toxic chemicals that cause skin allergies, rashes and even blindness in animals. Licking the colors can also cause intestinal erosion and diarrhea.

In the caption, Shradhha wrote, “If you see someone behaving like this (angry face emoticons), please act (folded hands emoticons).”

Shraddha Kapoor has always been an animal lover and occasionally advocates for their care. A few years ago, in 2020, when there was a global pandemic, the actress took the initiative to spread the news that a stray cat around her house needed urgent medical and nursing attention.

Shraddha was last seen opposite Ranbir Kapoor in the film Tu Jhoothi โ€‹โ€‹Main Makkaar. She will next be seen in Stree 2, the second installment of the hit horror-comedy franchise. The film will mark the return of the original cast including Shraddha, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana and Abhishek Banerjee once again. The film is scheduled for release in August 2024.
