Sidharth Malhotra and Raashi Khanna were seen holding hands for a brief moment during the promotions of Yodha. Promotions for the upcoming film began recently and the actors were spotted in Jaipur over the weekend. The duo launched the first song of the film, Zindagi Tere Naam, in Jaipur. While photos of their visit took over the internet, a video of Sid and Raashi holding hands surfaced online and took fans by surprise. In the video shared by Instant Bollywood, Raashi is seen holding Sidharth’s hand for a moment but soon lets go.

The video shows Sidharth and Raashi heading to the music launch venue. While Raashi held her arm as they walked in, she soon switched to holding hands. Sidharth placed her behind her bodyguards to help her make her way through the crowd approaching them. The brief moment was caught on camera and the video has now gone viral.

Several social media users, including Kiara Advani’s fans, expressed surprise at the gesture. Many said it was a “strange” sight. “Why hold hands and everything publicly? She is just a co-actor, on screen she is fine but not socially… she is not cool,” said one social media user.

“Sid is very decent, she took his hands and he held them because he didn’t want to embarrass her later, he left her hands,” another fan noted. “She grabbed his hand but he let go,” another added. “Was it necessary to hold her hand?” asked a fourth social media user.

Some social media users also defended Sidharth. “Why does everything have to be a couple thing? Don’t brothers and sisters shake hands? Is married? He knows ! Y/n? Is people’s reaction so funny? Could he be there supporting her? That is the question for which every movement is observed and criticized,” he reads in a comment. “The thing is, he let go of his hand…which tells me he knows that wasn’t appropriate…standard,” a second user added.
