SmackDown clarified who makes the decisions for The Bloodline

Almost since its inception, one of the prominent criticisms of the enormous angle that WWE is presenting for next weekend Wrestlemania XL It has been that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is eclipsing Roman Reigns.

This is potentially a problem for several reasons. Reigns is the one in the middle of a historic title reign, and as exciting as The Rock will be fighting in his first real match in over a decade on the first night of WrestleMania, it’s Roman who will main event the second night against Cody Rhodes. Plus, as part-time as his schedule may be, Reigns appears to be a more prominent part of WWE’s on-screen product going forward than his more famous cousin.

While it could very well turn into a feud between the two in the future, it’s not ideal for Roman to appear as Dwayne’s second character instead of WWE’s main character.

It must be recognized that Triple H and the WWE creative seem to realize this. That has to be why we had this scene with Paul Heyman, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa last night (March 29) on Slap revealing that it was on the “order” of the Tribal Chief that Rocky went to Raw this past Monday to make Cody Rhodes bleed.

Roman has also decreed that Jey Uso has to fight his little older brother Solo Sikoa next Friday. Slap…just a day or two before facing his twin brother Jimmy at ‘Mania.

Now we’ll see if Reigns will look like the Boss of the Table when he shares the screen and the ring with The Final Boss next week. That will start when both are on. Raw Monday night.
