“Squid Game” has revealed its first look at season 2!
On February 2, the hit Netflix series released its first stills from its long-awaited second season, scheduled for release in 2024.
In “Squid Game 2,” Sung Ki Hoon (played by Lee Jung Jae) chooses not to join her daughter in the United States to pursue her own goals related to the deadly game she won in Season 1.
In addition to protagonist Ki Hoon, newly released stills from the upcoming season capture the enigmatic leader (Byung Hun Lee) without a mask, along with the mysterious Salesman (Gong Yoo) who recruited Ki Hoon in season 1.
A final photo introduces viewers to a completely new character (played by Park Gyu Young), who appears to have been recruited as a new Squid Game contestant.
“Squid Game 2” will be released before the end of the year.
