Massive flower arrangements

On March 1, the first day of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities was celebrated as ‘An Evening in Everland’, where guests dressed in elegant cocktail attire. Fashion designer Manish Malhotra shared a photo on Instagram Stories with American floral designer Jeff Leatham, who was responsible for all the intricate floral arrangements at the show. Known for his work with reality TV star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian and the rest of his family, Jeff created spectacular white, pink and purple floral arrangements for the evening.

Daytime event inspired by animals and forests

On March 2, Indian-inspired art was the theme of decor when the Ambanis hosted ‘A Walk on the Wildside’ with ‘jungle fever’ as the dress code. Held outdoors at Ambanis’ Vantara animal rescue center in Jamnagar, the event featured peacock and jaguar motifs on chairs and furniture. Forests, birds and animals could be found on everything from tents to walls.

In the evening the guests headed to ‘Mela Rouge’. The Moulin Rouge-inspired carnival was the most opulent event of Ambani’s celebrations, with yellow bulbs and chandeliers and bold use of the color red. To make it even more dramatic and romantic, large scale red floral installations were placed.

With mirrored ceilings and a sparkling gold and red carousel, the Ambanis weren’t kidding when they called their pre-wedding sangeet night ‘Mela Rouge’. On March 3, for the ‘Maha Aarti’, the decorations were inspired by India and featured lots of white floral threads and lighting.
