Superstar Rajinikanth played a crucial role in Lal Salaam, but the film is heading towards a major disaster. The actor’s next on-screen appearance will be in Vettaiyan. Jai Bhim fame TG Gnanavel is directing the film.
The action drama has already completed 80% of its filming. According to the latest rumors in Kollywood film circles, Vettaiyan is targeting a Diwali release in 2024. If the rumors turn out to be true, the film will benefit from the festival advantage. Currently, the filming is taking place in Hyderabad.
Bollywood’s Shahenshaah Amitabh Bachchan shares screen space with Rajini. The film also stars excellent performers Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan and Ritika Singh in crucial roles. Lyca Productions is bankrolling the film while Anirudh is composing the songs.
