It was quite a hoot.

Sydney Sweeney, who hosted “Saturday Night Live” last week, starred in a funny sketch that showed her as a Hooters waitress who, despite being very bad at her job, made a lot of money, for some reason.

In the sketch, which begins with Chloe Fineman and Chloe Troast comparing the tips they received when they ask Sweeney how much he earned.

“$36,000,” says Sweeney, 26, to the surprise of her fellow waitresses.

“Is he that low?” the actress continues as Fineman, 35, and Troast, 26, continue to look horrified.

“I wouldn’t say low,” says an exasperated Fineman.

“Yeah, that’s pretty good, Tina,” Troast adds, referring to Sweeney’s character.

Just then, Bowen Yang walks in saying it was “another bad day” after receiving a 12-cent tip and a note saying “You ruined my day.”

Sweeney then complains that a table tipped him and Fineman proclaimed “yeah, that’s going to happen.”

Moments later, “SNL” veteran Kenan Thompson enters the room with something on his back.

“Excuse me, I’m so sorry, I had to run to the bank. Here’s your advice, new girl,” says Thompson, 45, dropping a ton of cash on the table.

“Damn, she’s fine,” he exclaims before running out of the room.

The other servers were not impressed.

“That’s crazy. I served that guy last week. When he brought him the check, he patted his pockets and said, ‘I’m sorry, I just got fired,’” Fineman says.

“Yes, when I helped him, he said, ‘Is there a woman who works here?’” Troast laments.

After apologizing profusely, one of the men breaks down by saying, “Whatever you do is fine,” and Eve offered to buy him a new car.

Sweeney’s co-workers watch with growing frustration as she accidentally causes a man to break his sobriety, but the group still offers her a new car.

Shortly after recommending that Hooters might not be the place for Sweeney, who revealed that he had worked at an airport and as a traffic guard, the chain’s mascot, Hooter B. Owl, comes to life.

“You can’t leave,” says the owl. “You are my Harry Potter. And this is your Hogwarts, so stay.”

After Sweeney agrees, the other three ask the mascot if he wants them to stay, to which he replies, “I don’t care.”

“Now I must go,” the pet owl continued. “I have to attend a funeral. “My friend Flaco crashed into a building.”

The skit ends with Hooter B. Owl saying that the only way to cheer him up would be if someone showed him their breasts, but he quickly says goodbye when Troast volunteers.
