  • They said Sylvester hired Navy SEALS to train his daughters before they moved to New York City.
  • “Sophia and I were beaten by these guys,” Sistine said.

Sylvester Stallone had his daughters undergo military-style training before moving to New York City.

Sylvester’s eldest daughters, Sophia and Sistine, shared details about the grueling experience with the New York Post. The couple told the outlet that his father was uncomfortable allowing them to move to the Big Apple, so he insisted they receive self-defense training.

“These guys beat up Sophia and me. They were real,” said Sistine, 25. “And I’m not surprised that my father put us through something like this because our whole lives we grew up with him doing this kind of military-style self-defense training.”

Part of his training involved chasing and trying to catch a chicken, which Sistine called “deceptively difficult.”

“I came in a little cocky, no pun intended,” he said. “The chicken won me over.”

During their conversation, Sophia recalled that her father had always been regimented and instilled that practice in their morning routine when they were children.

“It was a rigorous routine,” Sophia, 27, said. “Every day at 6 am, he made us eat eggs and ketchup. For some reason, that combination… to gain volume.”

“But then there were a lot of sit-ups, push-ups, pull-ups, clean and jerks,” Sophia continued.

Sistine and Sophia said they have lived in New York City for a year, but Sylvester still worries.

“I don’t think I’ll ever be less nervous,” Sistine said. “He’s like a classic, overprotective father. Three daughters at an age where, you know, we’re all over the place and out.”

The sisters’ training and other antics will appear in the second season of “The Family Stallone,” premiering Feb. 21 on Paramount+.

Sylvester has had five children, including Sage, who died in 2012, and Seargeoh with actor Sasha Czack. He later welcomed Sophia, Sistine and her youngest daughter Scarlett with former model Jennifer Flavin.

In May 2023, his three daughters talked about Sylvester having gone “full Rambo” when they brought the children home. Rambo refers to the gun-promoting Sylvester character who appeared in the film franchise of the same name.
