Clemson Music Fest has announced the artists who will kick off the inaugural festival in April. The university announced Thursday that the first-ever Clemson Music Fest will be held April 19-20 on the Upper Intramural Fields campus, located at 2614 Williamson Road. Clemson Mayor Robert Halfacre said the music festival is “bringing music back to Clemson in a big way.” On Monday, the festival announced that T-Pain, Mt. Joy and Two Friends will perform. Advance tickets go on sale Wednesday, February 21 at 8am. “It’s not just about the music; it’s about creating lasting memories and fostering a sense of unity among the Clemson family,” said Bob Durkin, festival organizer and co-founder of Southern Entertainment. Local food vendors, art installations and interactive activities will also be part of the excitement, “providing a full sensory experience for attendees,” the school said. Officials said the festival is the result of the school’s collaboration with the city of Clemson and Southern Entertainment, in partnership with TRZ Management. “This event represents a significant opportunity to foster community cohesion through music,” said Clemson Mayor Robert Halfacre. “This collaboration embodies the spirit of unity and cooperation, highlighting our shared commitment to diversity as we open our doors to music lovers from all walks of life.” Both Clemson students and residents will have exclusive early access to Buy tickets before they go on sale to the public at 8am on Wednesday, February 21.
