The Associated Press confirmed that the Love Story singer hopped off for her epic 12-hour journey an hour after her show in Tokyo ended. She was seen at the Haneda airport from where she would begin her trip to Las Vegas. The trip is not ideal as she faces a race against time, especially with nine time zones ahead. Say what you will, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s very public ‘love story’ has put the internet on an emotional rollercoaster.
This past NFL season drew a lot of attention with Swift’s influence in full swing. Similarly, Kansas City Chiefs paraphernalia has been avidly viewed at the numerous stops on their Eras Tour.

While the promise hasn’t been officially sealed as of yet, it looks like the Anti-Hero star does indeed have bona fide plans to make it to the big game. Initially, getting a seat at Super Bowl LVIII was also an issue. People wondered where the pop singer would sit to cheer up her current partner. However, that problem has also been dusted off and resolved as her jock boyfriend is footing the incredibly expensive bill for Super Bowl tickets. Kelce and Swift’s families will be sitting together in the Super Bowl suite. Sources also claim that some of Taylor’s friends will also be joining him.
The whole Taylor Swift private jet debacle has fans following her flight too. While many have criticized her for the multiplication of carbon emissions produced in the process, others still support her in making it to Las Vegas on time. The Japanese Embassy in the United States is one of those international organizations that clearly supports this love story. They had even released a statement about how she could safely travel from her concert in Tokyo on February 10 to see the Chiefs play in Las Vegas.
When voicing their opinion about the 12-hour flight and 17-hour time difference, Japanese diplomats specifically highlighted three Taylor Swift song titles in the official statement: Speak Now, Fearless, and Red. It’s safe to assume they’re speedy, too.
Sporting News is tracking Swift’s plane. They reported that it took off from Haneda Airport in Tokyo at 11:36 p.m. local time. It is expected to arrive at Los Angeles International Airport at 4:21 pm PT on Saturday. Flight Radar also shows its aircraft listed as “Football Era,” making it even easier to find Swift in the skies.
The Super Bowl will begin on Sunday at 6:30 pm ET. However, the way these large events work, some real-time delays are inevitable.
