Taylor Swift’s cake used almost 287 pounds (130 kg) of ingredients

A baker created a sculpture of Taylor Swift out of cake ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl.
Lara Mason’s video of her making the giant sculpture has so far racked up more than three million views on TikTok.
Using almost 287 pounds (130 kg) of ingredients, Mrs. Mason sculpted the cake in 38 hours over a week.
In the sculpture, Swift was depicted holding the Super Bowl trophy above her head while wearing a Kansas City Chiefs sweater, in support of her boyfriend, Chiefs player Travis Kelce.
The baker originally planned to make a Travis Kelce cake to accompany Swift, but said she ran out of time.
“She’s incredible, she’s a brilliant role model for young girls,” Mrs Mason said of the singer.
The 37-year-old baker, from Brownhills, Walsall, has been making cakes for almost 13 years and has created similar sculptures, from Harry Styles and Ed Sheeran to Queen Elizabeth II and Spiderman.
Their festive recreation of the Grinch even attracted the attention of star Jim Carrey, who joked, “My ultimate goal is not only to be admired by my fans, but to be eaten.”
Speaking about making Taylor Swift, the baker said: “She’s obviously very beautiful, so it was difficult to get her to look so pretty.”
In contrast, Ms. Mason said it was easier to show the image of the Grinch because of his distinctive features, commenting, “The scarier and weirder you make the face, the better.”

Together with her husband, the 37-year-old created the Swift replica in her home studio, much to the excitement of her six-year-old twin daughters.
“They love her, they love the music, the cowboy boots, everything,” the mother of two laughed.
“So they loved it. Every day they came home from school and (the cake) was a little bigger.
“They are my biggest fans and they tell everyone about it.”

The cake was Mrs Mason’s tallest to date at 7ft (2.13m).
“People don’t realize that the cake is actually so heavy that it doesn’t like to defy gravity,” he said.
“My husband and I built the internal structure, otherwise it would just fall to the ground.”
The baker chose red velvet and vanilla for its flavor, to match the colors of the Kansas Chiefs’ red and white uniform.
She used food coloring to get the right blonde shade for Swift’s hair and a blowtorch to add shine to her pants.
The 37-year-old admitted she was nervous about the star seeing the cake, but added it would be great to know she had seen it.
The cake took 38 hours to prepare.
It took Mrs Mason four hours to sculpt the replica of Swift’s face.
While Mrs Mason is a fan of Swift, she told the BBC that she was inspired by her and her husband’s love of American football, as her husband played the sport while he was a student at the University of Sunderland.
“I’m a huge NFL fan. When we were in college, we loved the camaraderie of the football scene,” the 37-year-old said.
Unfortunately, he said he ran out of time, so Swift was left standing next to a blank space.

“On Sunday we will watch the Super Bowl 100%. The grandparents will take care of the children and we will see if there is any free place to play,” said the baker.
While the couple typically roots for the Denver Broncos or the Green Bay Packers, Mrs. Mason was hoping for a particular outcome on Sunday.
“By the end of the fairy tale, it absolutely has to be the Chiefs,” he said.
