Maybe Taylor Swift wants to consider changing her lucky number to 4.
The pop superstar made history at the 66th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night when she won album of the year for “Midnights,” making her the first artist in the show’s history to win the award four times.
Swift, who also took home the award for best pop vocal album, used her Grammy moment to reveal the title and release date of her upcoming album “The Tortured Poets Department” (out April 19).
Miley Cyrus earned her first pair of Grammy Awards when she won best pop solo performance and record of the year for “Flowers.” Meanwhile, Billie Eilish won song of the year for her “Barbie” soundtrack hit “What Was I Made For?”
Others who took gold in music included alt-R&B/soul singer SZA, who opened the show with nine nominations and won best R&B song and best pop duo/group performance. R&B songwriter and singer Victoria Monét, who broke out with her song “On My Mama,” won best new artist.
The first winners among the 85 categories presented during the premiere ceremony included Featherweight, Chris Stapleton, Killer Mike and Joni Mitchell. In addition to her pop duo win with SZA, indie-pop darling Phoebe Bridgers picked up a trio of awards in the rock category with her band, boygenius.
