Taylor Swift wins artist of the year at iHeartRadio Music Awards

Taylor Swift kicks off National Poetry Month as “Artist of the Year” at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.

The Eras Tour singer did not walk the yellow carpet or appear at the awards ceremony in Los Angeles. AJ McLean of the Backstreet Boys and Lance Bass of N’Sync presented their award at the Dolby Theatre.

“I wanted to thank everyone very much who voted for this award,” the singer said in a recorded video. “For fans, it’s completely up to you to choose how you spend your time, what concerts you want to go to, what music you want to be the soundtrack of your life, and to anyone who included me in those choices, I’m very grateful for that.” .
