“We do not confirm the names of victims and perpetrators of crimes, but if all other news agencies in the world use those names, they would not be wrong,” a police statement said.

Photographer Ben McDonald said France-Presse Agency that a security guard used an umbrella to try to prevent him from taking photographs, and that an older man punched him when Taylor got into the car.
“He punched me in the face,” McDonald said. “It was a shock. That has never happened to me in 26 years.”
Taylor’s spokesperson, Tree Paine, sent a statement accusing McDonald and another photographer present of “aggressively pushing their way toward Taylor, grabbing her security staff and threatening to throw a female staff member into the water.”
TO video published by Australian media shows photographers showing photos of the Swifts as someone orders them, “Go ahead, stay away from the vehicle.” Then, an umbrella creaks.
“Don’t touch my umbrella,” someone says. “No, you touched my umbrella,” another person responds, before the video falls on its side.
Scott, nicknamed “Papa Swift,” is loved by the megastar’s fans for his public acts of kindness, including delivering sandwiches to fans at a previous concert in Sydney. She left Australia with Taylor as planned after the incident, Good Morning America reported.
Taylor will continue touring in Singapore. The “Eras” tour became the highest grossing musical tour of all time last year, and the first to earn more than $1 billion in revenue.
