bollywood movie Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya cattle $3.75 crore on Monday as the numbers fell by 65.12% after the film scored the highest sales on Sunday. The numbers of most films fall on Monday. However, things looked positive for the film, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, as it fared well over the weekend.
Directed by debutant directors Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, TBMAUJ It premiered on February 9. After its release, the film collected $6.50 crores. On Saturday, the film saw a 44.03% jump and minted $9.65 crores. Business was even better the next day. With a jump of 11.40%, the new age romance swept $10.75 crores.
The total net collection in the internal market stands at $30.85 crores while the gross collection is $32.5 crores. With an overseas collection of $20 crores, the film has already earned $52.5 million rupees.

TBMAUJDespite receiving approval from viewers, it has been criticized by most critics.
“Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya puts to shame all the other futuristic films and shows that entertained us or at least tried to keep us hooked to the world of robots and science,” wrote Monika Rawal Kukreja in the Hindustan Times, “If it’s a comedy, where are the jokes? It’s a romantic story, where is the romance? If it’s a science fiction movie made for kids, where’s the science?
“Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon undergo a fantastical idea that falls short of its potential but offers moments of harmless fun while exploring the state of modern romance,” wrote Anuj Kumar in The Hindu.
“It’s all empty chatter with no real substance. An experiment gone wrong, it’s two and a half hours of cinematic waste. It is avoidable,” wrote Saibal Chatterjee on NDTV.
“Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon deliver a confusing film that combines sci-fi tropes with a bland Indian family drama,” wrote Shubhra Gupta in Indian Express.

What can it work for? TBMAUJ is that it is the only romantic and pleasant movie released during Valentine’s week. The numbers have dried up Fighterstarring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, which released on January 25.
Shahid-Kriti film will next face competition from Vidyut Jammwal crackk and Yami Gautam’s Article 370both released on February 23rd. Yeah Teri Baaton Mein… gets a Valentine’s Day boost, it’s likely to do well at the box office. According to media reports, the film, produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios, was made with $75 crores.
